SEK Education Group in the top 9 of the education sector according to MERCO Businesses and Leaders 2017

The leading corporate reputation watchdog, MERCO Empresas y Líderes 2017, has included SEK Education Group in the top-9 educational institutions with the best reputation in Spain. SEK Group is the only company in the ranking that includes universities and schools, University Camilo José Cela and SEK International Schools.

MERCO (Monitor Empresarial de Reputación Corporativa), is an assessment monitoring company with a multistakeholder methodology based on five assessments, 18 sources of information, surveying 24,531 people and with the opinion of over 4,000 experts including executives from major companies, journalists, analysts, professors and opinion leaders and 22,330 citizens and workers, making it one of the leading reputation monitors in the world.  

In the ranking for this year, Inditex has taken the top place for sixth year running, followed by Mercadona, Santander, Repsol, BBVA, Telefónica, Caixabank, Mapfre, Iberdrola, Once and its Foundation, all of which with headquarters in Spain ‘attesting to the strength of large Spanish corporations‘, according to MERCO.
