International Academic Stays at SEK-Dublin

Students from SEK International Schools have the opportunity to temporarily continue their studies at SEK International School Dublin, an international school located in Greystones, near Dublin, where students of different nationalities learn and live together in English.

Studying at SEK-Dublin offers students an authentic international experience while allowing them to continue progressing academically, develop their language skills and build independence, adaptability and a broader perspective on the world.

A Pioneering School in Ireland

SEK-Dublin was the first school in Ireland authorised to offer both the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP), reflecting a long-standing international educational approach that is an integral part of the school’s identity.

During their stay, students become fully integrated into the school’s academic and social life, study in English and share their everyday experience with students from different countries and cultures.

Much More Than Studying Abroad

The international experience continues beyond the classroom. Living in Ireland, together with cultural and sporting activities, gives students the opportunity to use English naturally while developing new personal and social skills.

Students can stay in the campus residence or with selected Irish host families, making everyday life and immersion in Irish culture an essential part of the experience.

Different Study Options

Students can join SEK-Dublin for:

• A four-month term
• A semester
• A full academic year
• The two years of the Diploma Programme

Each option gives students the opportunity to become part of SEK-Dublin’s international environment and enjoy an academic and personal experience suited to different stages of their educational journey.

An Experience That Broadens Horizons

Studying at SEK-Dublin means learning and living in a multicultural environment, building relationships with students of different nationalities and experiencing another culture from within.

It is an opportunity to grow both academically and personally, while developing the skills needed to navigate an increasingly international world with confidence.
