SEK Education Group, represented by SEK Schools, the Felipe Segovia Foundation and Camilo José Cela University, will attend the 2nd Aprendemos Jugando event This event, to be held in Madrid between 14 and 19 November 2017, includes the 2nd National Congress on Innovation and Non-formal Education, the 2nd School Fair and the 2nd Fair for Families.
The 2nd Aprendemos Jugando, held at Madrid’s Museo del Ferrocarril, aims to ‘find realistic proposals for innovation in education that are emerging both outside schools hours and, particularly, for weekends and holidays.
As was the case in the first year, the event is based on three initiatives being run in parallel to each other. A convention on Innovation and Non-formal Education, from 14 to 16 November; The Fair for Families, from 18 to 19 November and the Schools Fair from 16 to 17 November.
Javier Presol, President of the Felipe Segovia Foundation, presided over the Convention Opening and introduced different conferences and round table discussions. Among which, with the participation of SEK Education Group, were round table discussion such as New Technology; New Challenges, with Noelia Cava, MakerSpace Coordinator at SEK-Santa Isabel, and The Brain and Emotion, with Mercedes Blasco, Early Childhood Coordinator at SEK Education Group. And keynote speeches such as Tecnología para Tod@S, by Roxanne Pérez from SEK Education Group and Education in Values and Sport, by Gaston Antozzi, by the Coordinator of SEK International Sports Academy and the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. Miguel Ángel Pérez Nieto, Dean of the Faculty of Education and Social Science at UCJC, gave the closing address.
Based on the success of last year, with over 8,000 attendees, and the latest advances in Education and Culture, according to the organisers Aprendemos Jugando aims to become a standard and meeting place for professionals and families in the Non-formal Education sector, and to create a space that favours the interaction and exchange of knowledge between companies, professionals and families in Madrid, It also aims to showcase non-formal education from all fields, from quality educational entertainment; sharing different extracurricular education experiences and analysing the role and importance of the main areas of the future innovation model in education.
