‘Music is in the air’ concert 

On Monday 10th February, SEK International El Castillo hosted the Music is in the Air concert, featuring students and families from Natalia López’s classroom. 

The event began with an instrumental performance of He’s a Pirate, the main theme of the Pirates of the Caribbean soundtrack, by Katharina B. on the flute. 

The second part was dedicated to singing, with outstanding performances by our students. Elena F. thrilled the audience with How Long Will I Love You, by Ellie Goulding, while Amira A. performed Bad Blood, by Taylor Swift. Lourena V. transported us to the world of The Greatest Showman with A Million Dreams, and Carla B. dazzled with her interpretation of I Have Nothing, immortalised by Whitney Houston. Finally, Natalia D. closed this section with the classic Son of a Preacher Man, by Dusty Springfield. 

For the grand finale, the school choir, made up of primary and secondary school students and families, won over the audience with two very popular songs: Die with a Smile, by Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars, and Can’t Take My Eyes Off You, which put the finishing touch to an unforgettable musical evening for the audience.
